- Mr Zaki was asked to probe whether Tarek Nour would be interested in Giving to AUC. Throughout this time he has been meeting with Tarek Nour and helping him draft proposals for AUC.
- Mr Zaki has also been approached by School of Audio Engineering (SAE) who wanted him to set up an operation for them in Egypt. He told them that he was not interested in doing this himself but that he would introduce them to AUC and Tarek Nour with the view to setting up the first special effects and programs production facility in the Middle East. After several meetings in Jordan and Cairo (which would have resulted in LE 6million) and with AUC Development property officers Mr Zaki was told that AUC would need another
- LE 3 million to set up the facilities.
- Mr Zaki was approached by the advisor of Hassan Tatanaki, a Libyan businessman who said he’d be prepared to put up the LE 3 Million.
- Mr Zaki arranged for a meeting on Monday March 30, 2015 with Tatanaki’s Advisor to discuss possibilities.
- Mr Zaki has also prepared a fundraising and positioning plan for AUC as a whole.
Global Affairs and Public Policy Family Day.
Mr Zaki was asked to help attract more participants to the GAPP Family Day, he wrote, produced and funded a song for the events which he helped organize.
Public Service
In 2014, Mr Zaki initiated, produced and funded a song to engage Egyptians to rebuild their country. The song was sung by Rula Zaki, his daughter and can be seen on Youtube under the name “Masr Lazem Te3eesh”.
